Broad Community Connections' mission is to revitalize Broad Street from Tulane Avenue to Bayou Road as a vibrant commercial corridor, bringing together the surrounding neighborhoods and fostering their economic, residential, and cultural development.

Who's On Broad? Kickoff Exhibition
BCC is proud to announce the kickoff exhbition for the Broad Street Story Project! Come to 200 S Broad Street this Thursday evening (Jan 28th) from 5PM—7PM to celebrate the rich history and culture of Broad and promote the corridor as a vibrant small business district. More info here.

GNOF Community Impact Grant
BCC is a proud recipient of a Greater New Orleans Foundation 2010 Community Impact Grant! We'll be using the support to build capacity and enhance our programs to make Broad Street a better place to live, work, and play, and we'll also be advocating for the larger revitalization of our city's great urban commercial corridors. Chase Community Development Competition
A team of MIT and Washington University in St. Louis graduate students working with BCC placed 2nd in the 2009 Chase Community Development Competition on November 17th!

Broad Street Flea Market
The next Broad Flea is February 13th.
Broad Flea is an affordable shopping adventure—a cheap-chic flea market held monthly on Broad Street.

Broad Street Brewhaha
The Broad Street Brewhaha is Broad Street's annual Main Street Main-to-Main event celebrating the brewing history of New Orleans! Come out next time to New Orleans' Brewery District to celebrate the coffee- and beer-brewing history of the Crescent City.

Side Street Project
The next Side Street Project will take place on Saturday, December 5th, at 9AM at the Sojourner Truth Community Center (2200 Lafitte Street), where we'll be cleaning and picking up trash on a portion of the Lafitte Greenway from N Galvez to N Broad. Click here or more information.
