The farm is currently in development, with construction set to begin in summer 2014. Broad Community Connections' partners in this project include SPROUT NOLA, Harambee Gardens, and Faubourg Farms. The project will offer

  • Education to community members about gardening basics, fresh food, and how to grow;
  • Assistance and education opportunities for individuals interested in starting a backyard garden and learning how to harvest and prepare fresh fruits and vegetables;
  • Training, life skills, and empowerment through the growing of food;
